Thusnelda, Really Pissed At Daddy
Roman sculpture of the Second Century AD, reputed to be of Thusnelda. She was a German princess, who married a chieftain who rebelled against Rome. She went to stay with her dad while she was pregnant, but he was loyal to Rome and turned her over to the Roman general, Germanicus. She was taken to Rome and forced to march as a prisoner in Germanicus’s triumph, while her dad watched from the stands. What are the odds that what really happened was that Lot got drunk, raped his daughters, got them pregnant and then blamed it on them? And his wife didn’t really turn into a pillar of salt, but she dumped him because he was screwing their daughters?
